A one-night, introductory course to gain practical experience and skills in sound engineering. Get to know how a sound system works, routines for setting up sound equipment and good practice for making sound for live events.

GRIP is open to everyone, but we emphasize that we want to welcome more women, non-binary and transgender people into sound technican roles in Bergen's cultural organisations. No previous experience necessary.

///
GRIP is part of a new initiative at Bergen Kjøtt to empower a greater diversity of people to gain skills and jobs in technical roles in Vestland. In collaboration with many different cultural organisations, Bergen Kjøtt aims to provide long-term, practical training, experience and mentorship in sound engineering across cultural disciplines, including music, dance, performance and theater.

In collaboration with Bergen Kjøtt, AKKS Bergen, BIT Teatergarasjen and Carte Blanche. Supported by Sparebanken Vest, Bergen kommune and Balansekunst.
