'Soft Noise Ensemble' (S.N.E.) are the Norway-based trio of Eline Rafteseth, Omar Johnsen and Luke Drozd. Operating somewhere at the junction of jazz, free-improv and (soft) noise, they trade in the sonic explorations of objects hidden sounds, double bass rumblings, and textural synth layers. Think Taj Mahal Travellers playing in the belly of an old Norsk fishing vessel, perhaps.

This concert will celebrate the launch of their debut album on UK label Sensory Leakage, 'Live at Bulldozer', featuring two long-form improvisations available split over two sides of ferric tape or as a download from https://sensoryleakage.bandcamp.com/

Kicking the evening off will be 'To You They Are Birds, To Me They Are Voices in the Forest', a concept that Daiyen Jone Castro and Knut Jonas Sellevold are currently developing. The duo explores improvised, imaginary landscapes in the borderland between sound, music and nature via voice, flute and electronic interventions.
