After a classical training on the double bass in Germany, Christian Hinz has been a student of the French virtuoso Francois Rabbath in Paris, who taught him his “Nouvelle Technique de la Contrebasse”.

In the Bergen Kjøtt Bar, Christian will present his own arrangements of modern classical composers and compositions on the double bass - always with room for improvisation. Christian promises a beautiful early evening concert bringing together multiple musical influences.

Christian is currently artist in residence at USF Verftet.
